Find an Expense Claim Faster

• Xero Expenses have added new filters to track claims.
• You can filter them by claim type, labels or by employee to see where money has been spent.
• Simply click on the expense to see more detail, then either edit, approve or decline.

Block Invoices that Exceed a Credit Limit

• To stop invoices from being sent after the credit limit is exceeded, select Block sending invoices past credit limit next to Credit Limit Block.
• This new feature will automatically block someone from sending or approving an invoice, if the amount exceeds the credit limit for that contact (only available in new invoicing).
• It helps businesses better control the amount of credit extended to customers.

Claim JobMaker Payments using Xero Payroll

• Nominate eligible employees and claim payments as a part of the JobMaker Credit scheme. The JobMaker claim codes are automatically created for you in Xero Payroll and filed to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) through Single Touch Payroll (STP).
• The JobMaker Hiring Credit is an incentive for businesses to employ job seekers aged 16-35, to help the economy recover from COVID-19. Eligible employers can register for the scheme for each additional employee they hire in the 12-month period from 7 October 2020.

Upload PDF receipts on Xero Expenses App

• Submit PDF receipts into the Xero Expenses mobile app and it will automatically extract relevant data from the PDF and create the expense claim.
• The PDF file will also be attached to the claim as a proof of purchase. Just review and submit your claim in one click.

Automate Excess Super Calculations

• Advisors can now automatically calculate excess superannuation contributions and Division 293 tax for high-income earners in Xero Tax.
• This automation saves time and improves accuracy.

Automate Staff Bonuses & Commissions

• No longer do you have to worry about manual tax calculations for employee bonuses or commissions.
• Xero Payroll now automates this for you and files the data with ATO via Single Touch Payroll (STP).

Connect and Verify your Business PayPal in Minutes

• Xero have updated it’s PayPal integration and it now only takes a few minutes to complete verification inside Xero.
• When you add a payment service account to an invoice such as PayPal, Xero adds a ‘Pay Now’ button to the online invoice for customers.
