Bank Reconciliation

Xero have improved the way it matches account transactions to bank statement lines in the Reconcile tab. All the information in a statement line is now used to determine how similar it is to existing account transactions.

Adding Billable Expenses to Invoices

If you’ve recorded a billable expense and assigned it to a customer, the billable expense will now available to add the next time you create an invoice for that customer.

Reconcile a Split Transaction in the iOS Xero App

Xero accounting for iOS: You can now make part payments during bank reconciliation when the statement line doesn’t match the Xero transaction.

JobKeeper changes in Xero Payroll

It’s now easier to claim and report JobKeeper by updates to Xero Payroll so you can capture and edit a tier for each employee and file through Single Touch Payroll.

2022 Public Holiday Planning

Xero have added official public holidays in 2022 across Australia into Xero Payroll, to make it easy for you to create leave requests and pay runs.

Identify Duplicates in your bank feeds

Identify and fix troublesome duplicate transactions in your bank feed. The duplicate statement lines report runs a search for duplicates. This is a big time saver and will ensure your balance in Xero accurately reflects your bank account.
